Warner Home Video (WHV) has struck a non-exclusive deal to distribute music-related DVD projects from Eagle Rock Entertainment. Terms were not disclosed, but Doug Wadleigh, WHV VP of marketing for special-interest product, says the deal will run for at least five years. Steve Sterling, president of Eagle

Rock's Eagle Vision arm, adds that the firms will look to release at least six projects from major artists each year.

Eagle Vision GM of home video Jeff Baker says many titles will feature "documentary and factual information that relates to or parallels theatrical movies that are coming out." A J.R.R. Tolkien package that will include a DVD and a full CD of "Middle-Earth music" from Yes keyboardist Rick Wakeman arrives July 16, to support WHV's Aug. 6 release of the movie "The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring." Due Sept. 3 is the DVD "Janet Jackson: Live in Hawaii," which first aired in February on HBO.
