EMI Names GMs For Labels In Sweden
Klas Lunding and Sandra Nordin have been named GMs of Virgin and Capitol, respectively, in Sweden. Also, Per Sandin has been named director of EMI marketing, working with both labels. The appointments are the first since the arrival earlier this year of Åsa Törneryd as president of EMI Recorded Music
Sweden (Bulletin, Feb, 20). The new appointees report to Törneryd.
Lunding was VP of A&R at Virgin in Sweden; Nordin was at Saint Promotion, the Stockholm-based firm she co-founded in 2000 after exiting Sony Music Sweden. Sandin had been heading Swedish operations of EMI budget label CMC.
