Phish Concert To Be Simulcast In Theaters

Phish's June 17 concert at Keyspan Park in Coney Island, N.Y., will be broadcast live to 47 movie theaters throughout the United States.

The show, to be recorded in high-definition video and Dolby surround sound, will be screened at select Regal, Edwards and United

Artists theaters in or near a number of major U.S. markets, including Atlanta, Chicago, Cleveland, Detroit, Los Angeles, New York and Philadelphia.

Tickets to the screenings -- $12.50 in advance, $15 day of show -- will go on sale Friday (May 28) at Regal's official Web site and individual box offices.

As previously reported, the concert will kick off the band's light summer touring schedule, which climaxes with the Aug. 14-15 Coventry festival in Coventry, Vt.
