U.K.'s Channelfly Expands With Scottish Venue Buy
U.K. music and media group Channelfly plc is expanding its Barfly Club brand into Scotland with the launch of a venue in Glasgow. The company has acquired the lease to the 445-capacity, split-level venue the 13th Note and has renamed it Barfly Glasgow. This will be the first Barfly Club to be wholly
in Channelfly's control; the company will be responsible for all commercial operations at the venue, providing additional revenues through beverage sales, gate receipts, venue hire, sponsorship, and advertising.
Channelfly has existing Barfly venues in London and Sheffield, England, and Cardiff, Wales.
