EMI Publishing Promotes Gerson To Executive VP
EMI Music Publishing has promoted Jody Gerson to executive VP, U.S. She was senior VP of West Coast creative. Based in L.A., she will continue to sign and develop talent, as well as running West Coast operations. She reports to chairman/CEO Martin Bandier.

years at EMI Music Publishing, Gerson has signed and developed writers that include Enrique Iglesias, Alicia Keys, Dallas Austin, Jermaine Dupri, Arrested Development, Deborah Cox, TLC's T-Boz, and Luscious Jackson.
Gerson's promotion follows the recent exit of Steve Backer, executive VP of West Coast creative.
