U.K.'s VCI Puts Distribution Unit On The Block
U.K. music and video publisher Video Collection International (VCI) has put its Disc Distribution unit up for sale. The announcement comes amid industry speculation that VCI, which is owned by Woolworths Plc, is also for sale.
North London-based Disc Distribution handles distribution
for VCI and 60 third-party music and video labels. It has a staff of 120.
A spokeswoman for Woolworths confirms that VCI is "talking to a number of interested parties" about a possible sale but declines to put a valuation on the business.
