Former Epic Records president Polly Anthony has joined Jordan Schur at the helm of Geffen Records, sources confirm. The co-presidents will also be responsible for DreamWorks Records, which is being absorbed as an imprint under Geffen.

Anthony, who exited

Epic last fall, was initially expected to head up DreamWorks, which Universal Music Group purchased from DreamWorks SKG in November for nearly $100 million. She and Schur will report to Jimmy Iovine, chairman of Interscope Geffen A&M.

In the new alignment, DreamWorks will retain its creative staff, including A&R. No further cuts are expected at the label, which laid off about 100 staffers in January.

Geffen will now handle new releases by DreamWorks artists, which include Toby Keith, Nelly Furtado and AFI. Last year, Geffen also absorbed the former MCA Records.
