Change Considered For Nashville's WSM
Gaylord Entertainment, owner of WSM-AM Nashville, is considering a format change for the heritage country radio station, sources say. Among options being considered are sports or news/talk although the sources say no final decision has been made and no timetable has been set. The potential change could
leave the Grand Ole Opry without its longtime radio partner. WSM-AM is considered a stronghold for traditional country music, but its ratings have flagged in recent years.
