It will publish the book, a collection of prose and poetry first brought out in 1921, on 31st January 2006, to coincide with the 50th anniversary of Milne’s death.
Managing director Emma Barnes said: "One of our guys was researching A A Milne, and came across The Sunny Side on a bibliography
on a website. We thought it looked great, and so we got one from Abebooks. We’re really excited about it." The format is not yet finalised, but Barnes is considering doing it in paperback for a price point of £7.99.
Snowbooks celebrated its first birthday on July 31st, recording a turnover of £205,000 in the year to date, and a profit of £17,000. Its most notable success has been Adept by Robert Finn, which has sold nearly 30,000 copies according to Nielsen BookScan figures. Barnes says Sarah Bryant’s City of the Sun is also set for success.
