Many UK publishers are in favour of a move across London from Olympia. Continued growth in international business meant the fair was booked to bursting in March, with visitor and exhibitor numbers both up by 7% on 2003. Table numbers at the rights centre were up by 15%.
The 2005 event

will remain at Olympia in west London. But the larger ExCel exhibition centre in Docklands is a strong contender for host from 2006.
Alistair Burtenshaw, exhibition director, said there were a number of issues to consider, and stressed that no decision had yet been taken. "It is important to consult with clients to gauge opinion, and any decision will be taken in consultation with exhibitors and visitors," he said.
An announcement is expected shortly.
