No stalling for LIBF

Stands at the London International Book Fair, due to be held at Olympia on 28th to 30th March, are selling more quickly than in previous years, according to the organisers. More than 95% of the exhibition space has already been booked, and overseas exhibitors have increased by 17%.

Patrick McLaughlin, LIBF sales manager, said that the stand total for last year had already been beaten.

New exhibitors were expected to take 71 stands. The academic area had sold out, and only single stands remained in the rest of the exhibition space, including the children's area. Last year 1,404 companies were visited by 23,109 people. Mr McLaughlin expected an even larger attendance this year.
