Publication: Bookseller
Date: Thursday, April 27 2006
Going live on 1st May, the first monthly "Career Focus" will concentrate on the publishing industry, with various jobs explained, from novelist and children’s author to illustrator and indexer. A number of high-profile writers such as Ros Barber and Sara Wheeler have been lined up to impart expert knowledge

and advice.
According to the site’s founder, Joslyn Bellamy, the new section offers a fantastic vehicle for publishers to reach mothers with pre-schoolers, "both in terms of promoting female-biased books and children’s books".
The main website has also proved popular with advertisers, as it already boasts 26,698 unique users.
