Scholastic buys Forsyth’s historical adventures

The Gypsy Crown, the first novel in the deal, is set in the 17th century, and tells the story of two gypsy children setting out to get their parents released from prison. Scholastic plans to publish in May 2007, and to bring over the author for publicity.

Moody bought

the books through agent Rosemary Canter. In the US, Hyperion has rights (agent Jill Grinberg of Anderson Grinberg); Pan Macmillan will publish in Australia (agent Tara Wynne at Curtis Brown).
