Timeline from E4books

By Alison Bone
Publication: Bookseller
Date: Wednesday, March 15 2006
The timeline charts events including a proposed project to analyse supply chain costs and areas for collaborative savings; implementation of ISBN13 in January 2007; and the impact that trading partner pressure will have on companies which lag behind in the electronic process.

"This

timeline started out as a wish list," said Roger Woodham, chair of the e4books steering committee, "but already it is beginning to look like fact. There is a real momentum building up behind e4books."

The timeline will be live at www.bic.org.uk by the end of this week.
