Warner Bros and ImageMovers have bought film rights in Measle and the Wrathmonk (OUP), the first novel for children by Ian Ogilvy, star of the 1970s TV show "Return of the Saint". Robert Zemeckis (who directed "Forrest Gump" and "Back to the Future") and his ImageMovers partner Jack Rapke made the six-figure

deal, which also includes the next two books in the series, Measle and the Dragodon and Measle and the Mallockee; the agent was Jody Hotchkiss Associates, acting on behalf of Ogilvy’s agent, Rosemary Canter at PFD. Measle is an orphan whose guardian is a wrathmonk - a wizard gone bad - and who is magicallly miniaturised and takes part in an adventure on a train set.
