Odyssey Adventure Racing And SealSkinz Continue Partnership

DUARTE, CA - After nearly four days of hiking and biking rugged Civil War trails, swimming and paddling the New River and trekking the Allegheny Mountains, Tracyn Thayer and Norm Greenberg of Team RacingAhead.com crossed the Beast of the East finish line first, followed by Team Subaru Outback; both teams were wearing SealSkinz waterproof gear.
SealSkinz was a co-sponsor for the third running of the race and provided six elite teams with gear. Other teams wearing SealSkinz included: Team Navy, Team Cal-Eco, Team Adventure Sports Outfitters and Team Peak.
According to race director and avid SealSkinz wearer Don Mann, this year's course was "longer, hillier and more difficult" than previous years. Odyssey's Beast of the East is one of the United States' oldest and most prestigious races and was chosen this year as a qualifier for the Discovery Channel World Championships and the USARA National Championships.
