New VP Steps Up To The H&B Plate; TNF Continues Corporate Shuffling
ACTION PERFORMANCE: Gregory W. Penske has been named to the board of directors. He is president of Penske Motorsports.
ANTIGUA GROUP: Raymond J. Johnson has been named vice president of operations and engineering. He will oversee the companyís product development and design initiatives, along with all aspects of manufacturing operations.
BLACK DIAMOND EQUIPMENT: Joe Skrivan has been named director of new product design. He was formerly the director of engineering at Hasbro Toys.
CHIPMAN UNION: Bob Wanat has been appointed vice president of manufacturing services. He will be responsible for ìall manufacturing support services including engineering, quality assurance, purchasing, materials management, logistics and customer service.î
CHUMS: Nancy Harvey has assumed the position of national sales manager. She plans to ìimplement a series of aggressive programs to maximize penetration in the sports and optical markets.î
HILLERICH & BRADSBY: Bill Clark has been elected vice president of the company. He was also appointed president of the Louisville Hockey Division.
INTERNATIONAL MASS RETAIL ASSOCIATION: Joe Mosgkowicz has left his position as executive vice president to become a consultant to the association.
JUST FOR FEET: Helen Rockey, formerly the company president and COO, has been named president and CEO. Robert Oyster, formerly president, superstore division, has assumed the duties of COO.
MOVING COMFORT: Scott Smith has been named director of manufacturing. He was formerly engineering operations manager at Oxford Industries.
NHL INTERACTIVE CYBERENTERPRISES: Rich Libero has joined NHL ICE as director of editorial and production, reporting to Tom Richardson, general manager. He will oversee all content and day-to-day operations of NHL.com plus 10 other NHL member club and hockey-related Web sites.
REEBOK: Christopher Lee has been appointed to the newly-created position of brand creative director where he will ìassume global responsibility for directing and implementing the creative design function across Reebokís footwear and apparel strategic business units.î
SUNBEAM CORPORATION: Gwen C. Wisler has been appointed president of Eastpak, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Sunbeam. Wisler will focus on day-to-day operations while Mark Goldman, chairman, will still focus on new business development and strategic projects.
THE NORTH FACE: Several management changes have been made: Roxanna Prahser has been appointed as a financial consultant, reporting to president and CEO Jim Fifield, to assist in managing all financial functions; Claudia Palmer, vp of business development, has been promoted to manage information systems, customer service, warranty and credit departments along with her other duties; Sandy Wait, vp of retail and Summit Shops, has been promoted to manage product distribution along with her other duties; and, Chris Crawford, formerly the GM and CFO, has resigned under mutual agreement with the company.
TIMBERLAND: Donlyn Ray has been named general manager of worldwide customer operations. She will be responsible for ìorder fulfillment, order management, customer service and consumer service for all Timberland operations.î

UNITED STATES PROFESSIONAL TENNIS ASSOCTIATION: Fred Viancos has joined the USPTA as the director of professional development. He will be responsible for ìcoordinating continuing education and professional development courses and activities for USPTA members through the associations career development program.î
WORLDWIDESPORTS.COM: Brian Farrey and Robert Colburn have joined the online sporting goods storeís board of directors. Farrey is currently the chief technology officer of Monster.com. Colburn, who also accepted the position of senior advisory for new business development, was the former vice president and general manager of Bauer Nike Hockey USA.

New additions to the Antiguaís golf sales team include: Greg Brown in Los Angeles; Mike Lazoran in northern OH; Gary Chittenden in upstate NY; Scott Harriger in TN and KY; Harold Marin in the Mid-Atlantic states; Scott Nishimura in HI; Bill Massey in south TX; R.J. COSTA DEL MAR: Opti Tech Corp. of Miami has been hired to help expand international sales and distribution of polarized sunglasses and accessories to the Latin American market.
E.C. FRAZIER & ASSOCIATES: The Waco, TX-based agency will represent the Reebok Team Uniformsí line in AK, LA, OK and TX, expanding its long-term relationship with Reebok Team Uniforms.
KRENZIEN, KRENZIEN: The Wenzel Co., based in St. Louis, MO, recently recognized the agency for its ìoverall volume increase.î Both Dick and Steve Krenzien were given 1998-í99 Sales Achievement awards. South Bend Sporting Goods, a fishing manufacturer based in Northbrook, IL, named Krenzien salesman, Jim Olles, its 1998-í99 Sales Rep of the Year.
KZW Ltd.: The Hungtington Woods, MI-based agency recently received the Kenney Award by Nike Swim in Portland, OR for its ìperformance, dedication and the pursuit of excellence.î The agency covers IL, IN, KY, MI, OH and WI.
RECREATIONAL SALES ASSOCIATES: Steven Seltzer has resigned as an owner of the Southampton, PA-based agency after 23 years to become a partner in Dick Kaufman Inc., a 50-year old wholesale distributor in Philadelphia. The companyís primary business is closeouts to the retail apparel trade.
SEATTLE SPORTS: Lisa Mansback and Associates, which reps Seattle Sports in PA and NJ, has expanded its territory with Gary Hall to cover MD, DE, New York City and Washington, DC. Hall will focus on watersports accounts and Mansback will service camping retailers. Tom Baney will assist them with sales and service in the Mid-Atlantic region. Additionally, Greg Fischer will rep Seattle Sports in VA and WV. Dave Williams, who covers WA, OR, northern ID and MT, will take over all the Northwest dive accounts formerly serviced by Al Carpenter.
TACKETT BROTHERS, INC.: The Allen, TX-based agency will represent First Team Sports, which manufacturers Ultra Wheels inline skates, Hespeler ice hockey equipment and Crossover backpacks, in the South, including TX, OK, AK and LO.
TAIL: George Herning has been hired to rep the companyís golf and tennis lines in AK, MS and LO. Chris Peck will rep gold and tennis in KY and TN. Stacey Mack will rep golf in AL and GA, Ann Evans will rep golf in western NC and SC, and Warren Mack will rep golf in north FL.
TEAM EDITION APPAREL: Randy Johnson was appointed director of sales of the Bradenton, FL-based company, which is preparing to launch its Spring 2000 line of licensed apparel.
