Wilson Sporting Goods has expanded its Hyper Carbon line, which it launched at the U.S. Open, with the new Hyper Hammer 2.3 Stretch (SRP:$260) and Hyper Hammer 5.3 Stretch (SRP: $199), along with the Hyper Pro Staff 5.0 and Hyper Pro Staff 5.0 Stretch (SRP: $190 each). The 2.3 model is for players with

a compact stroke and slower swing speed while the 5.3 (used by pros Lindsay Davenport and Todd Martin) along with the 5.0 (used by pros Jonas Borkman and Irina Spirlea) are for players with a full stroke style and moderate to full swing speed.
Head USA has proclaimed itself the number two tennis racquet maker in the world. That's a tough claim for some to swallow, especially Prince which charged Head numbers are "inaccurate and misleading." A statement from Prince noted "Head cites research figures that either don't exist or were used inaccurately. Head's response to this point, through legal channels, is that this was an 'unintentional error.'"
