ACCESSORY NETWORK: Mark Minsky has been appointed senior vice president of all bag divisions including character and fashion lightweights, sports and small leather goods. In addition, he will also be responsible for leading the companyís rapidly growing kids division, Kids@work.

SPORTS: Jackie Perrin has been promoted to vice president of marketing. She will focus on improving the response to external needs by strengthening internal communications and operation flow with the integration of the companyís production, management, customer service and art departments.
BUCK KNIVES: John R. Weaver has been named national sales manager while Joe Anasagasti has been promoted to director of human resources and Gail Sloan has been named marketing manager.
DEXTER SHOE COMPANY: Gerald S. Hyde, a retired executive, recently passed away from cancer. He was 69.
DUNLOP MAXFLI SPORTS CORPORATION: Mike Rizzo has become the new president to replace Bill Olson, who served in this capacity for the last two years.
EMAP PETERSEN: Sharyn Tarmor has become vice president of business development. She will be responsible for negotiating contracts and licenses, and the analysis and implementation of new business opportunities. Tarmor is credited with pioneering ESPNís integrated sales and sponsorship marketing division in the early 1990s.
ETEAMZ: United States Womenís National Soccer Team co-captain Julie Foudy has joined the board of directors, which will ultimately consist of eight athletes and coaches from various sports.
FOX RIVER MILLS: Joel Anderson has been hired as branded national sales manager. He will be responsible for handling branded sales and managing the national branded sales force.
GROUPESTAHL: Marilyn Elliot has been appointed vice president of human resources. She will be responsible for overseeing and building partnerships within the group to develop and execute strategic HR initiatives that support the new corporate objectives.
HUFFY: Bill Smith has been appointed to the newly-created position of vice president of sales and marketing while Mike OíGara has been named vice president of sales and John Fowler has been named vice president of product development.
MAJESTIC: Chuck Strom has been hired as director of hot markets and special events while Brendan McQuillan has been appointed director of club services and venue sales. Strom, who spent seven years at the Starter Corp., will manage all merchandising, operational and sales aspects of the companyís hot market and event business. McQuillan, who has held merchandising and licensing positions with the Philadelphia Spectrum, NHL and the QVC Network, will manage the companyís sales efforts with stadium concessionaires and professional team-owned retail operations. He will also oversee the companyís day-to-day communications with all MLB clubs, as it pertains to its newly-expanded MLB on-field apparel programs.
MINNESOTA WILD: Tod Leiweke has been named the clubís first-ever team president. He will be responsible for the overall business operations including: marketing, advertising, communications, promotions, ticket sales, budget development, corporate partnerships and broadcasting agreements.
NIKE: Curtis S. Roberts has been appointed vice president of strategic planning. He will be responsible for leading Nikeís budgeting and planning processes, evaluating strategic opportunities and seeking capital efficiencies.
OP: Nina J. Leong has been named as the new executive president of licensing and business development. She will be responsible for recruiting domestic and international licensees and expanding the brand into all viable categories.
ORCA: Sally McCoy, president of Sierra Designs, has been elected president of the trade association replacing Dunham Gooding, who heads the Alpine Institute in Seattle. Newly-elected officers include Tom Mendl of Malden Mills as vice president, Lee Fromson of Cascade Designs as treasurer and Lillie Gilbert of Wild River Outfitters as secretary. Additionally, newly-elected voting board members include Sky George with Camelback and Gordon Seabury with Horny Toad.
REEBOK: Paul Foster has been appointed to the newly-created position of vice president, corporate communications. He and his team will set and implement RILís internal and external strategic communications direction and positioning for the Reebok, Rockport and Greg Norman brands, and selectively support Ralph Lauren footwear from an RIL perspective.
THE HOCKEY COMPANY: Leonard Rhodes, Craig Ryan and Michael Chiasson have been hired as global brand managers for CCM, KOHO and JOFA, respectively, as part of a strategic marketing initiative to develop separate and unique identities for each brand. This will further enhance the companyís image while promoting its performance and technological innovations.
TULTEX: John Box has been promoted to the director of marketing. He had been the vice president of marketing for Track Gear.
Women's Sports Foundation: International soccer star Julie Foudy has been elected president of the board of trustees, replacing basketball Hall of Famer Nancy Lieberman-Cline.

Additionally, Todd Thornton has been appointed as an account executive for the agency where he will be responsible for managing agency-client contact with several of the agencyís clients in the outdoor sports and industrial. He will also coordinate the development of advertising and marketing communications programs.
