Softride Execs Venture Out; MLS Names VP
A.D. ONE Mike Zinn has been named national sales manager.
APEX VENTURE, LLC: The company has been formed to market specialty products internationally by Jeff Heininger and Kevin Moore, former CEO and COO, respectively, of Softride.

BODECK AND RHODES: Mary Ellen Hudicka, M.A.S. has been named director of marketing.
BOLLE EUROPE: The company named Gilles Descamps president.
COLUMBIA SPORTSWEAR CO.: Jay Braverman has been hired as senior graphics designer.
CONVERSE: Has named Rebecca Bullard director of human resources.
ELASCO: The company has made several additions to its Red Star Hockey division: John Mc Fadden has been named VP of sales and marketing, Verne Yates has been named operating manager, and Tracy Tanaka has been named marketing manager. Meanwhile, Chris Miller will represent the line in CA.
HEAD USA: Bob Hampton, VP of the summer division, has left the company. Robert Marte, VP of summer sports worldwide, will act as interim VP in the U.S. during the divisionís restructuring.
INTERBIKE: The MFI trade show has named Lance Camisasca national sales manager.
LACROSSE FOOTWEAR INC: The company has elected John Whitcombe to its Board of Directors.
LIFE FITNESS: James S. Skinner, Ph.D., has been named chairman of the Life Fitness Academy scientific and medical advisory board. Other additions to the board include: Wojtek J. Chodzco-Zajko, Stephen Flek, Ph.D., Walter Frontera, M.D., Ph.D., and Paul Thompson, M.D.
MAJOR LEAGUE SOCCER: Dick Law has been named VP, consumer products.
MOONSTONE: The company has named Mike Waite director of marketing.
NIKE: Tim Joyce, VP for global sales, has been named the Distinguished Alumnus of the Year for the sports administration and facility management grad program at Ohio U.
THE NORTH FACE: The company named Jim Reilly as its COO.
PENN RACQUET SPORTS: Claire Cimino has been promoted to district sales manager. Additionally, Jean Dillingham was named western regional promotions manager.
QUABUG CORPORATION: Peter Bellanger, CPA, has been promoted to director finance and information technology. Additionally, Elizabeth Sheldon has been
promoted to product manager.
REEBOK: The company has elected Revlon Consumer Products president, Kathy Dwyer, to its board of directors.
THE SLED DOGS CO.: The company has elected Larry Kane, CEO of Barnacles, Inc., to its Board of Directors.
SOUTH BEND SPORTING GOODS: Randy Lencke has been named general manager and Kirk Guthrie has been given the position of national sales manager.
WEATHERBY: Adam Weatherby has been promoted to marketing coordinator and Becky Young to senior customer service representative.
THE WEST COAST SHOE COMPANY: Roberta Shoemaker has been named president. In addition, Wayne Wilson has been named VP of sales and marketing.
WOOLRICH: The company has named Frederick "Rick" Osborne VP, woolen mill. Ray Ping has been named national sales manager.
YAGA INC.: Michelle Tripi of Tripi Design has been brought on to head up the design of the companyís Menz and Girlz casual sportswear divisions. She will report to Susan Spencer.
