"Oakley's broad sponsorship program will encompass multiple athletes in multiple sports, not just the school's highest profile teams and players, giving us the opportunity to experiment with a multitude of sport-specific products and to showcase Oakley in front of a key youth demographic familiar with the brand," Bowers concluded.

Shawn Ashley, Long Beach Polytechnic's principal, commented, "This unique sponsorship agreement with Oakley benefits our school during these difficult budgetary times by providing high-quality equipment for our athletic teams without cost to taxpayers or to our players or their families."
