TFO Offers Pocket-Sized Purification
A small and compact, yet fully functional water purifier, the Gatekeeper from TFO Inc., Logan, Utah, fits into the cap of a portable water carrier to filter out contaminants for drinking water.
When combined with TFO's 32-ounce collapsible Flexi-Flask, the Gatekeeper
provides an instant, portable water purification system that can be folded up into a back pocket.
Breon Robertson, co-owner of TFO, says the Gatekeeper is an improvement to TFO's Flexi-Flask. "Our Flexi-Flask is wonderful for travel, but there are limitations on what you can drink when you're in a foreign country," he says. "The key with the Gatekeeper is that it's a water purifier of the highest level. Rather than just filtering water, it purifies it, killing viruses and all the bad contaminants without using iodine."
TFO claims that the Gatekeeper will filter out giardia, cryptosporidium, bacteria and industrial contaminants.
