Seattle--Anticipating a stronger 2002, footwear manufacturer Montrail is moving its offices and warehouse to a bigger facility in Seattle "The move takes place as the company rounds out 2001 with a five-year sales growth that has averaged nearly 17 percent per year," the company said in a statement.

"The potential for growth in 2002 looks strong. Montrail's booked preseason orders for next year are over 23 percent greater than they were for 2001." The new address at 2505 Airport Way South will be effective on Jan. 7. E-mail addresses and phone and fax numbers will remain the same. The new warehouse is 20,000 square feet with plenty of vertical storage space, compared to 13,000 square feet at the current location. "We outgrew our warehouse space long ago," said Menno van Wyk, Montrail's chief executive officer. "Our new warehouse is effectively three times bigger." Montrail is adding two new employees to the staff in January. Ollie Gilbertson will become footwear product developer while Libby Bliss is a new warranty service representative.
