U.S. Postal Service Sponsors Juniors
REDLANDS, CA—The United States Postal service announced that it will be the title sponsor of the USA Cycling National Junior and Espoir Teams at the Redlands Bicycle Classic. "The Postal Service is committed to the development of the next generation of cycling champions," said Gail Sonnenberg, U.S. Postal
Service's senior vice president. "Our cycling team sponsorship has proven its value to the Postal Service. By being associated with Lance Armstrong, the brand is recognized around the world." Armstrong is one of many American pros groomed by the National Junior Team. In 1999 USA Cycling split its junior program into the Junior Team and the new Espoir Team.
