VANCOUVER, British Columbia (BRAIN)—Race Face Performance Products is focusing its U.S. aftermarket distribution with Quality Bicycle Products (QBP) and Giant Bicycles. Effective Dec. 1, Race Face will no longer work with additional U.S. distributors.
Race Face has
a long, successful history with both partners.
“Focusing our distribution with QBP, the nation’s premier distributor, and Giant Bicycles, one of the most respected companies in the cycling business, will allow us to better service the IBD in the USA,” said Chris Tutton, Race Face’s vice president of sales. “Both companies are the best at what they do. The real winner is the IBD as we can now even more fully focus our product, programs and support with them.”
Rich Tauer, QBP’s product director, is excited about the opportunity to work more closely with Race Face. “This move allows us to better integrate our distribution model with Race Face’s outstanding products,” Tauer said. “We are going to carry Race Face’s full product line, including their new road components and clothing lines. We have committed to hiring additional personnel inside QBP to support the Race Face business. We are excited to service our customers better by working more closely with Race Face.”
Dennis Lane, director of product development at Giant Bicycles, is enthusiastic about the opportunity to further align the Race Face and Giant brands.
“We have a long, rich history with Race Face in terms of product spec, marketing sponsorship, and distribution in the USA,” Lane said. “It is always great when two market leading brands can work more closely together. Having the opportunity to focus our USA distribution more with Race Face is a win for our customers.”
