Park Tool Creates Distinguished Service Award

ST. PAUL, MN (BRAIN)—Bicycle tool maker Park Tool has created an award for bicycle shops that provide service above and beyond the call of duty to their customers.

“It seemed to us that most of the national recognition that went to bike shops was based solely on volume,”

said Park Tool president Eric Hawkins. “There are some great smaller stores out there that have done an outstanding job servicing their customers and representing cycling in their communities. We wanted to recognize excellent service regardless of the size of the store that provides it.”

Quarterly winners of the award will be chosen by Park Tool based on the feedback of customers who can post their positive experiences on the Park Tool website. Winners will each receive a trophy as well as recognition on the website. An annual winner will be chosen from the four quarterly winners. The customers who nominate winning shops will also receive Park Tool swag.
