Giga-Bike Chosen to Sponsor Victoria's Race Series
VICTORIA, British Columbia (BRAIN)—Giga-Bike Inc. has been named the official sponsor of the Victoria Cycling League Road Racing series. The VCL has a new website featuring the latest race results and point tallies.
"The
VCL is the heart of the Victoria road race scene and Giga-Bike is proud to be the 2006 sponsor," said Giga-Bike president Calvin Straathof. "From first-time racers to experienced masters and local pros, VCL challenges everyone week after week. It's great to have such an exciting and thriving local race scene and Giga-Bike is very excited to support it."
VCL has been running successfully in Victoria for 10 years. It boasts a field of more than 150 members who compete in a 30-event, weekly series through 2006.
