Huffy Slapped With Securities Fraud Class-Action Suit (UPDATED)
DAYTON, OH (BRAIN)--A San Diego lawfirm, Lerach Coughlin Stoia Geller Rudman & Robbins, filed a class action lawsuit on behalf of anyone who purchased Huffy common stock between April 16, 2002 and Aug. 13, 2004. The suit was filed in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio.
The complaint charges certain of Huffy's officers and directors with violations of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934. Officers and directors named in the suit are Don Graber, Timothy Howard, Robert Lafferty and Paul D'Aloia.
Throughout the Class Period--April 16, 2002 to Aug. 13 2004--defendants issued numerous positive statements concerning the Company's growth and long-term prospects. It is alleged that these statements were materially false and misleading because Defendants failed to disclose and or misrepresented adverse facts which were known.
