BRAIN Error Creates Headache For Financial Company
LAGUNA HILLS, CA (BRAIN)--An error in the 2004 Industry Directory, published by Bicycle Retailer & Industry News, created a few headaches for a financial services company.
The directory listed an incorrect phone number for Pacific Cycle, owners of Schwinn,
GT and Mongoose. Anyone who dialed the published number reached Eagle Finance in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Mary Fulmer, president of the company, claimed Eagle often received 10 phone calls a day from people trying to reach Pacific.
The correct toll-free number for Pacific Cycle is (800) 666-8813. We apologize for the mistake and any confusion it may have caused.
