Sea Otter Lands Hyundai As Title Sponsor
MONTEREY, CA (BRAIN)--Sea Otter Classic signed a title sponsorship agreement with Hyundai Motor America for this year's event, April 15-18.
Hyundai first enlisted cycling for its marketing with the Team Mongoose mountain bike team that was formed in 2001.
"Hyundai Motor America's sports related sponsorships have proved an effective medium to promote the Hyundai Santa Fe," said Paul Sellers, director of marketing communications at Hyundai Motor America. "This partnership with Sea Otter Classic will enable Hyundai to reach beyond its core customer into the market of the active family enthusiast."
Sea Otter is now in its fourteenth year. The company this year is co-promoting the California Outdoor Sports Championships with Infineon Raceway. That event will be held May 14-16 in Sonoma, California.
