Yeti Cycles Signs New European Distributor
GOLDEN, CO (BRAIN)--Yeti Cycles signed Shore-Sportsworks of Germany as its exclusive distributor for Europe, thus ending a two-year relationship with its previous distributor, Volant AG of Switzerland.
"In order to be successful in Europe, we needed to streamline our
distribution, but we were even more interested in finding a partner that understands the Yeti brand and can help us grow in Europe. Shore-Sportsworks understands racing, they understand our product direction. We have a lot of Yeti freaks in Europe," said Chris Conroy, Yeti's president.
Shore-Sportsworks is in an 11,880-square-foot facility in Kirchzarten, Germany, and is owned and operated by Juergen Sprich. Sprich was previously director of marketing for Schwinn International, a product manager for Scott Europe and a two-time European Champion in downhill racing. Ralph Hermann serves as division manager and sales manager for the Yeti brand in Europe.
