Best Buy Sponsors Crazy Freakin' Bikers

OKLAHOMA CITY, OK (BRAIN)--Electronics retailer Best Buy inked a deal to be the presenting sponsor of Matt Hoffman's 2002 Crazy Freakin' Bikers (CFB) Series.

In its third year, the CFB Series is a three-part bicycle stunt competition that qualifies riders to the ESPN

Invitational events and the X Games.

"The Best Buy-CFB relationship will add to the success of the series and is a perfect fit to our growing organization," said Steve Swope, director of Hoffman Sports Association.

About 15,000 people attended the 2001 CFB Series and more than 5.3 million people watched the series on ESPN and ESPN2, according to Hoffman Sports. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
