1-800-Flowers.com has named senior vice president Chris McCann, 39, as president. McCann, who was profiled in RETAILTECH's August cover story, has overseen the company's IT department since May. He reports to his brother, CEO Jim McCann ... Kmart has announced that Joe Osbourn, CIO since September 1999, has left the company. Kmart has appointed Randy L. Allen, as executive vice president of strategic planning and CIO, a new position. Allen joins the retailer from Deloitte Consulting, where she was a partner specializing in retail, apparel manufacturing and distribution industries. ... JCPenney has named Timothy Troy as senior vice president and director of supply chain management. He was formerly the senior vice president of store operations and logistics for Petsmart. ... Safeway has named Vasant Prabhu as executive vice president, chief financial officer and president of ecommerce businesses. Prabhu was formerly president of McGraw-Hill Companies' information and media services segment. ... Zoho Corp., Sunnyvale, Calif., an online procurement vendor for the hospitality segment, has named Phil Wilkerson CIO. Wilkerson was previously the CTO for GlobalFulfillment.com. In 1999, while director of worldwide technical architecture and IT security for the Gap, he was honored by RETAILTECH as one of five "Up-and-Comers." ... Staples.com, has announced the appointment of three Staples executives to key roles on its management team. Kevin Dempsey, has been named vice president of international development. Mike DeSanto has been made vice president of merchandising. Connie Seatter was named director of human resources. ... KBkids.com announced that Michael Wagner, 38, has been appointed senior vice president and CEO. ... Fleming has named John F. Baldi senior vice president of convenience store and ecommerce fulfillment. He was formerly the president, west division for Alliant Foodservice. ... Krause Furniture has promoted Elizabeth A. Galliher to the newly created position of CIO and executive vice president. She was formerly vice president of information systems.
