The Container Store, a retailer of storage and organization products, has chosen UltiPro HRMS/Payroll from Ultimate Software as the foundation for its payroll, human resources and benefits systems for its 24 stores across the country.

The Container Store was seeking

an integrated HR and payroll system with robust functionality to automate and streamline processes with minimal IT support. The project team evaluated the available vendors and outsourced solutions and found Ultimate Software's UltiPro, hosted by IBM Global Services, to be the best solution for its needs. UltiPro fit The Container Store's functionality requirements and was the right solution for in-house control and effective management of employee relationships, the companies say.

?Our selection of UltiPro reflects our commitment to using the latest technologies to operate more efficiently,? says Claudine Tudgay, payroll director at The Container Store. ?With the UltiPro hosted model, we have in- house control without the IT headaches. At the same time, UltiPro's advanced Web functionality will offer our 1,500 employees access to a variety of self-service features. We wanted to give them the ability to track their own payroll and benefits information on the Web so we could save time and reduce the strain on our department. It's like having an HR department that never sleeps--information is available on the Internet at anytime, from anywhere.?

The Container Store currently has locations in Dallas, Plano, Fort Worth, Southlake, Houston, Austin and San Antonio, TX Atlanta, GA Denver, CO Chicago, Northbrook, Oakbrook, and Schaumburg, IL Rockville, MD the Tysons Corner area of Northern VA./Washington, D.C.
