HOUSTON -- Waxahachie, Texas-based H&H Oil Company Inc., a fuel retailer and wholesaler with about 160 sites, selected FuelQuest's Fuel Management System (FMS) to automate its fuel operations at both company - and dealer - operated convenience stores.
The selection
includes the FuelQuest FMS core platform modules for fuel management, which can poll sites for inventory and sales data, forecast fuel replenishment and automate the dispatch and truck scheduling of fuel deliveries.
H&H will also use the POS data centrally polled by FuelQuest to provide an automated feed to its accounting systems, saving labor and improving the accuracy of fuel accounting.
"Since dealer stores operate independently, one of the big challenges with this deployment was the lack of networked ATGs or of one centralized back office source of inventory and sales data," said Robert Lange, vice president of professional services at FuelQuest. "The integration of the G-Site POS data overcame this challenge since that is a common system across the majority of the stores being supplied by H&H."
Ali Sharaf, president of H&H, said, "We reviewed several other solutions in the market, but found no other company with the functionality that FuelQuest provides. We are committed to continuing to enhance our ability to provide our dealers with the highest service levels possible and to lowering the cost of distributing fuel to every store we supply."
