ExxonMobil Heads to Green Mountain

WATERBURY, Vt. -- Houston-based Exxon Mobil Corp. signed a long-term supply agreement with Waterbury, Vt.-based Green Mountain Coffee Roasters Inc. The deal calls for Green Mountain to provide more than 1,100 ExxonMobil company-operated locations and On The Run franchises in the United States with its

specialty coffees.

"We are happy to continue the long-term partnership we have had with Green Mountain Coffee Roasters," said Michael Gore, U.S. convenience retailing manager for ExxonMobil. "Our gourmet coffee is a strong contributor to the long-term resiliency of our convenience stores. We will continue to grow our coffee program. Our relationship with Green Mountain Coffee has been great in the past, and we are very excited to be working together as we look ahead."

In 2000, Green Mountain signed its initial long-term supply agreement with ExxonMobil. Since then, ExxonMobil has continued to expand and refine its convenience store operations both in the U.S. and internationally.

The new announcement reaffirms the working relationship between Green Mountain and ExxonMobil that has been successful for the past four years, the companies said.
