PDI Appoints Familiar Faces to New Roles

TEMPLE, Texas -- PDI recently created two new roles within the company in an effort to continue the company's focus on the retailer's success.

Jim Cornette, PDI's newly named vice president of professional services, has served the industry in numerous capacities including

retail consultant for Visilinx, various director and management roles for Petro Stopping Centers, principal consultant for Pricewaterhouse Coopers, and various marketing and management roles for Mobil Oil Corp.

Brent Welch, moving full-time to his role as director of national accounts, will add to his more than 10 years of service with PDI. Brent has served the company in numerous capacities including vice president of professional services, director of consulting services, trainer, and project manager.

"There are many new automation opportunities for our customers in the near future. This includes our new enterprise-wide system now entering the market," said Greg Gilkerson, president of PDI, which delivers enterprise-wide software and services that meet convenience store and wholesale petroleum marketers' needs. "The two new roles will strengthen our ability to communicate to the industry and provide customers the automation they need. Jim and Brent will provide great leadership for us to help maximize these new opportunities."
