PITTSBURGH

CoGo Co., operator of the Pittsburgh retail chain CoGo Express, acquired four units from Barkman Oil Co. of Woodbury, Pa., raising its store count to 97, CoGo President and CEO Carl Colteryahn Jr. said.

CoGo will lease the sites, which Barkman will continue to supply with Mobil-branded gasoline and fuels. The stores will be renamed CoGo Express in November. Praising the CoGo operation, Barkman Oil President Dirk Barkman said, "They are a company with many years of experience in the convenience store business and have earned an excellent reputation in the industry."

By pulling out of the c-store segment, Barkman Oil will shift its focus to serving its heating oil, air conditioning, farm and commercial customers, Barkman said.
