Scholastic is taking Kraft and Microsoft Corp. to school.

The New York-based company is tying in with the two others to promote its program called The Magic School Bus, which includes CD-ROMs, books, videos and a television program, through the "Your Adventures Come

True with Handi-Snacks and Microsoft" promotion. Consumers will receive a free copy of Scholastic's The Magic School Bus Inside the Earth CD-ROM by redeeming eight proofs of purchase from any Kraft Handi-Snack products. Microsoft is the producer of the CD-ROM.

The promotion is being supported by national print advertisements in several women's, family and children's publications, including Parents, Better Homes & Gardens and Family Circle. Shippers with tear pads and instore rack displays will also be available. The promotion runs through March 31.
