Battle of the bulk

Club and mass equals bulk for a lot of these shoppers. Whether brand names carry any weight depends on whether you're talking about detergents or paper goods—and maybe whether you're nostalgic for Mom's favorite brand when you were a kid.

Where are you buying bulk products?

Wal-Mart or Target, because of their pricing and the location.

Have you always shopped for these products this way?

No, I would purchase these products at the grocery store, but now price plays a major role in where I shop for these products.

Do you buy mostly brand names or private labels?

I purchase name brand laundry detergent because my mother used them back when I was a kid. As far as paper towels are concerned, I choose the best value for the dollar, and usually that is private label.
