AG New England Names HR Manager
PEMBROKE, N.H. -- Associate Grocers of New England, based here, said last week that Hope Kelly was promoted to the position of human resources manager. Kelly reports to Murphy and has taken on a number of responsibilities formerly handled by Laurie Glaude, who has left the company.
"Hope had worked previously at AG as a human resources administrator and returned to us as assistant human resources manager in May 2006," said AG New England s.v.p./c.f.o. Steve Murphy in a statement. "Since then she has implemented several employee programs -- including wellness, activities, and employee events -- and developed several new leadership training programs."
Kelly's work experience includes a stint at Symmetry Medical Inc.'s PolyVac division in Manchester, N.H., where she held the position of human resources representative.
AG of New England, owned entirely by independent retail grocers as members of a cooperative, is the largest retailer-owned, wholesale grocery distribution center in New England. The company serves independent retail food stores in Maine, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Vermont, and the upstate New York/Albany area.
