Ralphs Adds New Beverage Program in 300 Service Delis
LOS ANGELES -- The Kroger Co.'s Ralphs division here, and specialty coffee and tea retailer, The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, are launching a strategic partnership that will place the latter's brew program in 300 of the former's service delis.
The in-store operations
will feature the same products served in the beverage chain's retail stores, including eight freshly roasted coffees, five premium whole leaf tea bag selections, and a signature hot chocolate product.
Melvin Elias, c.o.o. of Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, said his L.A.-based company's alliance with Ralphs pairs "neighborhood favorites with California residents. This is a perfect and exciting partnership of two companies whose commitment to quality products, service and environment are in sync with customer satisfaction."
The partnership, also offers Ralphs shoppers exclusive product introductions, including the Guatemala Organic Coffee that will be served fresh at Ralphs in-store service delis.
Ralphs currently operates more than 460 conventional and warehouse-style supermarkets in California and southern Nevada.
