Pittsburgh Quarterback Gets Jerky
PITTSBURGH – Now there’s something else for Pittsburgh Steeler fans to hunger for besides their team’s appearance in the Super Bowl. Steeler quarterback Ben Roethlisberger’s line of Big Ben’s Beef Jerky hit the shelves of Giant Eagle and its GetGo convenience store subsidiary here over the weekend. The
beef jerky, which comes in a 4-ounce bag, is available in two flavors, original and teriyaki.
The jerky is being marketed by Robinson, Pa.-based PLB Sports, a division of specialty food marketing company Public Label Brands.
