Associated Grocers Names Hermanns CEO
SEATTLE - Seattle-based cooperative Associated Grocers said Robert P. Hermanns has been named president and CEO.
Hermanns was formerly was chief operating officer at Weis Markets, Sunbury, Pa. He succeeds Robert Hoyt, who has been interim CEO since July 2000.
Prior to his two years as chief operating officer of Weis, Hermanns spent a year as a consultant and two years with Shopeaze.com, Santa Clara, Calif., which provided online shopping software sfor retailers.
Hermanns was formerly was chief operating officer at Weis Markets, Sunbury, Pa. He succeeds Robert Hoyt, who has been interim CEO since July 2000.
