Sur La Table Featured on "The Oprah Winfrey Show"

Sur La Table received national recognition May 30th on "The Oprah Winfrey Show" as five segments featuring Chef Art Smith were aired. Chef Smith previously filmed the cooking segments in the gourmet kitchenware store's Chicago location.

The Sur La Table kitchen was

also used Thursday for prepping food for the show. Besides providing all of the equipment used during the cooking segments, Sur La Table provided all of the equipment used on the show set and furnished tabletop settings displayed throughout the show.

Sur La Table staff members assisted with the show's prop changes. Audience members were also treated to gift bags filled with products donated by Sur La Table vendors that were selected by Chef Art Smith. Information on the show and products may be seen at www.oprah.com.
