CARPET COLLECTION

Lees has introduced the new four-pattern Inspiration Collection of commercial carpet. All four are available in running-line broadloom and in 16 colorways. Aspire is a 22-ounce face weight product also available in 18-square-inch modular carpet tiles. Its design was

inspired by water marked lines of sand and results in a curvilinear pattern. Notion, a 20-ounce product also available in 18-square-inch tiles, displays a geometric pattern influenced by architectural forms and lines. The pattern of Concept, a 20-ounce product also available in custom modular carpet tiles, reflects abstract lines reminiscent of windowpanes. Paradigm, a 20-ounce product also available in 18-square-inch tiles, is a sophisticated all-over loop designed to coordinate with and complete the Inspiration Collection. The designs are enhanced with Elumicolor, a metallic-like carpet yarn exclusive to Lees that adds visual depth to the products. The new designs feature yarn-dyed DuPont Antron Legacy nylon, and the fiber is enhanced with DuPont's DuraTech soil protection and Duracolor, Lees' own stain-resistant dye technology integrated into the fiber to provide permanent stain, soil and fade resistance.

CERAMIC TILE

KPT USA has introduced the Crosswinds Collection, a series of white-bodied ceramic floor tile characterized by a unique gloss/matte surface finish. Crosswinds offers a stone look and is available in a 12-square-inch format. It is classified PEI IV, which makes it suitable for all installations, including heavy commercial.

CARPET SEAM ADHESIVE

The new Henry 248 SeamPro is a high-strength carpet seam adhesive that can be used on all commercial carpet backings, including vinyl. It features a high-tensile strength to ensure that seams will not pull apart. It also dries clear, resulting in transparent seams, and cleans up easily with a clean, white cloth dampened with soapy water. Henry 248 is offered in two sizes: pint and quart. Coverage is approximately 120 linear feet for the pint container and 240 linear feet for the quart. The product is certified by the Carpet and Rug Institute, which means it meets the CRI's strict indoor air-quality requirements for low VOC emissions. It also is backed by Henry's Best 10-Year Limited Warranty.

SHEET VINYL

Armstrong has added 14 new colors and a urethane protective finish to its Medintech and Medintech Tandem commercial sheet vinyl lines. The combination of new styling and improved performance now makes the floors suitable for use not only in health-care, clean-room and laboratory facilities, but also in many assisted-living and educational facilities. With the addition of new neutral and accent colors, the lines' visual now boasts a color rationale that integrates the entire line and reflects current global design trends. Each of the new colors has been introduced with a matching patterned weld rod color for seams that virtually disappear and a solid-color weld rod that blends with or accents seams as part of the overall design. The new urethane finish provides increased dirt and scuff resistance, which helps to reduce both initial and ongoing maintenance procedures and overall flooring maintenance costs.
