Visteon's customer focus and global performance result in expanding customer base

Visteon Corp., Dearborn, Mich., recently announced new business agreements with automakers from around the world including several Japanese and Asian automakers. According to the company, this year, it has secured $1.6 billion of new business and continues to expand its customer base with non-Ford business.


Approximately 75 percent of the company's recent wins are with customers other than Ford and 28 percent are outside of North America, the company adds. The new wins cover a wide range of products and systems that improve fuel economy, reduce emissions and provide increased personalization.

The following is a list of contracts with Toyota, Honda and Nissan:

- Visteon supplies its passive anti-theft system to Toyota for the 2002 Camry.
- The company supplies the dealer-installed entertainment system for the Honda Odyssey minivan.
- Visteon will supply Nissan integrated cockpit modules and front-end modules for future truck and minivan platforms.
- Visteon voice technology is currently available on the 2002 Infiniti Q45 sedan.
