Blitz Manufacturing names new v.p.
Greg Winokur has joined Blitz Manufacturing Co. Inc. as its new executive vice president of sales and marketing.
Winokur boasts a 30-year career in operations, sales and marketing management in the fine jewelry industry, serving
as vice president of operations of Sterling Jewelers and COO of Four Points Corp. His retail jewelry experience began at age 14 and led to ownership of a jewelry store in La Jolla, Calif., as well as other significant industry leadership roles.
Blitz is a Jeffersonville, Ind.-based manufacturing firm of non-toxic, environmentally friendly jewelry care and cleaning products that services both independent retailers and national chains.
Kassoy appoints new president
Joanne Slawitsky has been named president of Kassoy LLC, a leading supplier of jewelry supplies and label and bar code solutions.
Slawitsky, formerly Kassoy's vice president of sales and marketing, has been with the company for 11 years. In that time, Kassoy's product lines have expanded exponentially to meet the growing needs of consumers.
"Joanne knows the industry and the market very well, and has taken the company to another level in regards to meeting customer needs," said Kassoy CEO Hans Bosch in a press release. "She was the obvious choice to be Kassoy's next president."
In the year ahead, the company says it plans to further improve function and productivity across all product lines, and to continue to bring the latest innovations and technology to the jewelry industry.
