MIDAS Texan to honor "Southwest Stars"
MIDAS Texan will host an award ceremony Aug. 27 at the Gaylord Texan Resort and Convention Center to honor retailers and sales representatives from Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Arkansas.
The first-ever "Southwest Star Awards" will go to those people and stores that
have made significant contributions to the jewelry industry through service and industry and charitable organizations, MIDAS Texan announced recently. Chippenhook donated the awards for the ceremony.
The following jewelers will receive Southwest Star Awards: B.C. Clark Jewelers-Northpark of Oklahoma City; Newton's Jewelers of Fort Smith, Ark.; Sissy's Log Cabin of Pine Bluff, Ark.; and Troy Vinson Jewelers of Fort Worth and Granbury, Texas.
The following retail sales representatives will receive Southwest Star Awards: Carole Greenberg, a representative of Imperial Pearl and Alwand Vahan; and William Miller, a representative of Haytayan Jewelers, Inc. and The W.C. Edge Jewelry Co.
