Akron, Ohio (Oct. 11, 1999)—George S. Frankovich was named vice president, secretary and general counsel at Sterling Jewelers. Frankovich joined Sterling in 1986 and was previously corporate secretary and general counsel for the nation's second largest fine jewelry specialty retailer.
